How to set up a scheduled spyware scan using Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta)

Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) is a new security technology that helps to protect you from spyware and other unwanted software. You can use Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) to manually scan your computer for spyware or schedule a scan automatically on a regular basis at any time you choose. This is called a "scheduled scan."

Using the scheduled scan feature is similar to configuring your computer for Automatic Updates, the Windows program that helps keep all your software up-to-date. Like Automatic Updates, if you’re using your computer when the scheduled scan begins, Windows AntiSpyware runs in the background so that you won’t be interrupted while doing other tasks.
