Five Things You Didn’t Know About Windows Vista

"Microsoft’s latest Windows Vista beta, in the field less than a month, has been getting a thorough going over from developers and early adopters as they strive to learn as much about the operating system as possible in advance its official release later this year.

Andre -Certainly, Vista is a different animal than XP. I\’m a fan of XP Pro but have been pretty much sold on Vista as my next OS … thankfully being on the beta helps ease the thirst for information and others experience. I\’m sorry that you\’ve had issues with the current build 5270. My demon build was the one prior to that – so you\’re not alone in getting a headache over builds. I\’m getting quite excited as we get closer to beta 2! :)- Stephen

The next CTP should be something to look forward to. I am so happy to be Technical Tester to see it slowly blossom CTP by CTP. Regardless the Glass UI does not have much changes expected, I think Vista is gonna be awesome release just because of its security, reliability and plethora of built applications to get many consumers started out of the box.

Don\’t worry Imran, BETA 2 will be worth wait and I am sure if they don\’t make the initial release public, at least one of the CTPs after should be available in a Customer Preview Program for free.
