Forget about the trial. Focus on the music: check out our subjective and opinionated list of Michael’s best and worst albums. Think we’ve got it wrong? Vote for your own best and worst!
My favorite of course is Thriller, it is the first and only modern album where every song on the album actually sounds good. Todays albums come with default fillers, from Justin to Britney, even Michael himself has not been able to fully replicate the success of Thriller and he never will!
Yes, I realize he’s in a molestation trial, but the parents I believe are even more guilty than the accused. The 1993 allegations were no secret and that should have been a obvious reference card when planning to send your kids to Neverland. Just take the poll.

I’m a big fan of Mariah Carey, own almost all of her albums from her self titled debut album with classic hits such as Vision of Love, Someday and I Don’t Want Cry. I have not purchased her last two CD’s Charmbracelet and the Remixes, but I certainly will when Emancipation of Mimi comes out. Two specific Mariah Carey singles I have been dying to get are her Heartbreaker and Always Be My Baby remixes with the defunct female group Xscape, I’m not sure but I think it sampled Jermaine Jackson’s Don’t Take It Personal.
Anyway, its nice to cover something other than Windows Longhorn, which I have been covering endlessly since last week.
I recently purchased Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Special Edition, and got two never released bonus tracks, "After The Dark" and "Carousel".
Carousel, I have to say is my absolute favorite and speaks of a simple life, a guy who has fallen in love with a Circus Girl, wirtten by Michael Sembello, Mr. "Maniac" himself. The song was demoed to be included on the Thriller album, but never made the cut and was substituted with the great "Human Nature", which has been sampled in so many songs.
One drawback though, is that the version of Carousel song by Michael Jackson on the – Thriller (Special Edition), is just a sample 1:49, which is disappointing. But thank goodness for the web. Because I stumbled across a website that informed me that Michael Sembello’s website has the full version, sung by MJ 3:57 and the demo version sung by Sembello himself, which is superb for a demo by the way. Its a great a sung and can be downloaded for free.
Also check out his website, he has other music there for download: Michael Sembello
Great music like this should never be lost or hidden!
The rage in the music and technology industry continues to bring some very innovative and exciting products to market. From Dell to Creative to the ringleader Apple have introduced some really smart devices that hypnotize users into to emptying their pockets or life savings.
Microsoft has been working closely with some manufacturers such as Samsung to bring cool all in one devices such as the Portable media devices that aim to integrate digital media from Music to Moviws into a device that works in total harmony with your PC, specifically if its running Windows Media Player 10 or Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
I want one, but I will wait until Longhorn comes out, but that time we should see Generation 2 or 3 of these devices are way superior than they are now. Plus, I don’t have $500 to spree on one thing.
